So our Easter was chocolate filled and romance filled!
I am EXCITED to announce that there will be a new family member!! My sister was blindsided by a ‘hawked’ proposal.
Welcome to our family DUTCH!!!

Can you believe it???
We have a 17 month old… YES, 17 month old… who is just NOW walking??? Or, rather tetter tottering???
Doc said bones and development is fine. And suggested that his rather large melon be to blame….

As the erratic Texas weather comes to a close and the familiar thick heat sets in, I’m reminded why I love Spring. The color is once again painted among the roadside and blues, and reds speckle the green. So before the scorching star withers away the beauty of the moment. I thought I’d share a perfect Easter roadside moment.

To these two, their life was this beach.
The first of many to come. Wow. We had F.U.N.
So when do we go back????

No, really, it does.
Meet Drew and Sophie.
1. Drew is a avid rock lover (like myself)
2. Sophie is a avid dino lover (like myself)
3. Both are super sweet
4. Both are super cool
So what about this equation is wrong? Nothing. That’s why this session ROCKed. *Pun totally intended*

I really am lovin’ the Century Oak pictures. (Even though we had to wait FOREVER to get in a few!!) They would look amazing on metallic black and white paper OR on one of these!!!

So the light faded and it was beyond fun looking and searching for light at night. Thanks guys for allowing my creativity to whirl!!!

Isn’t she beautiful??? Oh, Drew you’re cute too! ;-p

When you throw in 2 special boys + authentic New Orleans cajun cooked mudbugs + absolutely divine weather = one heck of a party.
Father and son were able to celebrate among TONS of family, friends, dino cake, ice cold beer, and an inflatable kid corral.
300+ photos were evidence that it was a great time or I had one too many coronas…

If I were to award Granparent emotion of the year, it would be to Tony. I love this picture!!!

With about 20+ kids attending; I was able to absorb and take in the multitudes of edible cheeks and thickly lashed doe eyes.

Lastly, our chunk met his match. I’m pretty sure the rockin’ tee intimated him. At the end we were well acquainted with each other’s drool dripping plugs. We’ve already decided that with the harem, (see lovely lashes above), that Braden has accumulated he’ll need a good wing man for when they wreck havoc at aTm. Either that or they’re destined to be USA’s next bobsled gold contenders… we’ll see ;-P
