Introduction never felt so good. A few more of my family members added to the amazing movement that is TOMS. I usually don’t buy into the ‘give a penny’ for a shot kind of movement; simply because of the court filings against such children ‘organizations’. However, we do give to charities of solid repute and TOMS is one that we all adore. Not only are the shoes comfy, they’re affordable and cute. Give a child in the country of your choice a pair of shoes…

There is one who is not walking yet… We are almost 15 months and solidly grounded to all fours. Not that I mind. I’m not sure what blubbering idiot doesn’t mind hauling around a jiggly-slapping-prodding-poking sack of 30 pounds. But I guess that would be me. I blame it on the overwhelming fat deposits that he’s so cheerfully collected in his backside and the nice genetic bowling ball size head that he uses as leverage. (seriously… it’s what he uses for battering ramming his sister, smashing into his mom’s forehead out of fits of rage, and to assist in rollingĀ around onĀ the ground). I guess I’ll live with my 3’1″ mini nugget rooting around for a few more months.

I saw this and laughed. A baby, a iPhone, globs of slobber, and a sign to describe it all. After all isn’t this what we mutter to ourselves at every electrical outlet-shelf pulling-knife wielding-oh my god what is that in your mouth-moment???
