It’s hard to have fun in 100 degree weather but with a lake nearby we made good use of our time with the family.
We got to catch up with our relatives from Cali and get in some much needed lovin’ from our #1 Nephew!!!!

So I was editing these photos along with a shoot I had this weekend and was rehashing my ‘theme’… I was talking about this with my sister in law this weekend and realized that all of my art is composed of bright, crunchy, crisp, and clear photos… I love color and love blown out over the top black & whites. Guess I’ve settled in my nook.

So this is going to HAVE TO STOP. We’ve got this drama queen attitude infesting our household.

Oh, I KNOW YOU JUST DIDN’T RIP THAT OUT OF MY MOUTH TO JUST TAKE IT FOR YOURSELF. YOU’VE JUST ENTERED BABY FIGHT CLUB. And yes, you do have to fight on your first visit, head-butting is allowed. Winner: get’s the binkie. It’s on, friend.
So gone are the days where MaryAnn howls dismally for me with her little arms outstretched. It’s now, ‘get your guns and pitchforks, we’re going to roast a witch!’. Sometimes it feels as though I am trying to breathe underwater. I’m trying to understand you. To get through to you as to why it’s not nice to bash your brother’s head with keys. And you think that booger is REALLY, REALLY going to taste good? what happened to when it was more primal and every cell knew what to do when she needed to eat, breathe, sleep, and be…?
Oh shit, I’m slammed when she hits 14.

Mr. Knox, Mrs. Chandler, and Mr. Wells (Wellington) gave me a good run for my money. I was laughing so hard half the time that I would forget that I was supposed to be capturing the moment!!! Momma here’s a preview of a few!
