It’s offically summer and the longest day of the year. We’re enjoying the pool but the heat? Not so much. Heat indexes are in the mid 100s here and with the humidity being so high it’s not the greatest combo. Can not wait to get away for some cooler weather come fourth of July.

Miss MaryAnn and her swim instructor.

Our baby girl is OFFICIALLY a lefty at golf. Shae was ambidextrous and we can’t wait to see her potential. (Neither can PapaRed and Mimi)

So to catch everyone up… Trace is almost 7 months now and we now have 2 teeth and have overcome our first double ear infection/chest infection/ double pink eye episode. I guess I should knock on wood but he’s been a dream. Giggling, smiling, and cooing all the time.
His stats are 24lbs (dropping from 28: due to sickness) and 27 inches long. We talked to Tehya and she said that none of here babies were that big at that age and he right where his Daddy was at 18 months. I swear I’m going to be the midget in this family. Or at least I hope so…

Shae and I were in tears taking these pictures (which are about 2 months old) because he had just started cooing and talking full blast.

For the past 3 months are so we’ve been dabbling in some Strongmen workouts. We’ve acquired some abnormally large tires and Shae is welding some new toys. We frequent a friend’s house in San Marcos for some fun in the sun. About a month ago we watched Daddy flip a 1000+ lb tire and our cousin Adam flip a 500lb tire…

About a month ago we went to visit PaPa and Zsa Zsa. Fun times are always had and good meals are always enjoyed. Shae went with the boys to Robert Lee, while Momma stayed with Zsa Zsa and visited with Mary. On the way out of town we had breakfast with Grammy and Grandpa Dino. We also stopped and visited with Stacy and let ‘lil Stacy tell him all about his head cold.
We’ll be there again in a few weeks!!!

Oh, man Boo… I can’t believe you are heading off to college. Wasn’t it just yesterday when you were born two days before my 6th birthday??? I was so jealous that I was no longer the baby. But, know that even through the daily beatings and fights I still wouldn’t trade it for anything. We are so proud of you for becoming the beautiful intelligent lady you are.
Sarah secured her golf scholarship to Texas A&M and won the best female athlete award. I can’t wait to watch you blow the college competiton away (like you haven’t been doing that already)…
Shae is ready to be the inforcer and I’m ready to show you what a Tap Rat really is..
