So the littlest one is about to fly the coop. She graduates on the 24th and heads off to aTm later on in the summer.

Every time that one of us girls graduated from high school our parents along with a few other parents would throw us a party out at our ranch. The year that my older sister graduated it was a mud pit and swimming party. When I graduated we had a calf scramble, skeet shooting contest, and swimming. Now the littest one is on the block and a car smashing, swimming, calf scramble, skeet shooting party is in order.
Shae and I traveled down to help out by putting money on the calves tails and making sure the kiddos didn’t shoot each other.

The following weekend we went to Austin to watch cuz Ian’s baseball game and cheer on Daddy at ANOTHER powerlifting meet. CRAZY guy! We found out later that 2 meets in consecutive weekends is NOT a good idea. He didn’t so hot this go round but he still made it to Florida and we’re super excited about that! If he does well there then it’s off to World’s in RUSSIA!!! Wouldn’t that be COOL?!?!

Wonderin’ about the newest additive? He’s doing great. Just growin’ and growin’. We started our veggies and fruits and so far he’s got his daddy’s sweet tooth. HE ONLY EATS BANANAS!!! If you know what banana’s do to your system then you know why this isn’t that great… But we’re going to try to keep on pushing these sweet potatoes and hopefully he’ll give in!

I had to add in this pic simply because this is a facial feature that is ALL MINE!!! Daddy can’t do the raised eyebrow but Momma inherited this from Mimi. So he is part me after all!!

Well Daddy went off to smash some weight around and did awesome! He finished 3rd and qualified for Nationals in Florida! Whoo Hoo!

Go to powerliftingwatch.com for the detailed results from his meet.

Momma was supposed to go on a field seminar that ended up getting canceled at the last minute so we met Mimi and PapaRed down in Houston for a italian meal! While waiting for Daddy to get back on Sunday, we practiced learning about mixing colors and made a ‘Welcome Home’ sign.

No, for real… Where have we been??? One word. BUSY.
To the point where the only ‘extra’ time I have is to cook dinner. Yeah, we’ve been that swamped.
Now that we’ve slowed down; I plan on inundating you with the chaos that infiltrated our lives this past month. So enjoy!
