This year was a double edged sword for this little family… It awarded us a very tumultous beginning but came out with a new blessing. It was hard, very hard, to keep the positives up and the negatives down but, I KNOW that this year will be better, for us and for all of you.

No, it’s not a tribute to George Strait.
This is the most delicious fabric I think I’ve ever felt. A gorgeous ‘royalty only blue’ and a baby bottom soft texture, I was in love at first sight.
The Mimi is an avid, I mean AVID, authentic (not reproductions please…) antique furniture connoisseur and her love has passed down through the genetic tree. I have yet to be able to scrimp and save enough for my own little piece(s) of heaven but soon Shae and I will visit my filed away faves.
Our most recent visit to the family ranch in New Mexico, Mimi unveiled the newest little jewel to the collection.
My hubby does listen! A few months ago, I saw these on one of my favorite sites. I quickly called Shae over and promptly told him that the straps would make a wonderful Christmas gift… He then proceeded to grumble something about not really ‘needing it’ and stalked away. Frowning, I put the site in my favorites and promised that I would treat myself after Christmas.
But, YEA, now I don’t need too!!! Knowing me and my style he picked out the perfect one!!!
If you haven’t visited Shealynn’s etsy store you should… she has the neatest stuff!! I plan on purchasing many more to suit my mood!

So we didn’t have a football, but this was the next best thing. Believe me, I know the photo is kinda cruddy, but it was the best I could do without him slipping off.
Oh and yes he is making a uncomfortable face, but, Shae says it’s his football growl..
